Talc powder for Paper
Paper

In paper manufacturing, talc is commonly used as a filler to enhance the smoothness and strength of the paper, as well as to improve its ability to absorb ink, which in turn improves printing quality. The precise control of the talc's whiteness, particle size, and hydrophobic properties plays a critical role in producing high-quality paper. Talc improves the paper's surface finish, reduces the amount of coating lubricants required, and enhances the sheet's overall feel.

Our Advantages
  • We offer talc particles ranging from 2.5μm to 15μm, which effectively reduce wear on both processing and papermaking equipment
  • Our talc improves paper adhesion and operational efficiency, ensuring smooth interaction with blades, drying cylinders, and finishing equipment. It also contributes to a better visual and tactile quality of the paper, reducing the need for coating lubricants
  • With an oil absorption value between 22% and 55%, our talc enhances printability by reducing resin stickies during papermaking, leading to cleaner white water and improved ink performance
  • The hydrophobic nature of our talc improves the water resistance of the paper, making it less prone to moisture absorption
  • The platy structure of talc contributes to better smoothness, gloss, and roughness control, making it an ideal alternative to kaolin in paper coatings
